Stakeholder Workshop with Users and Affected Groups of Micromobility in the Living Lab of Cologne-Ehrenfeld

Cologne-Ehrenfeld is the site of PROMISE's empirical study on micromobility: mobility for users and those affected by bicycles, cargo bikes, e-scooters, and other micro-vehicles. Across the project's five case studies (Bochum, Brașov, Cologne, Osmangazi, and Rethymno), PROMISE investigates how micromobility can be introduced locally, what potential this holds, and what barriers and challenges may arise in the process.

The two-hour evening workshop was hosted by the Chair of Economic Geography, Transportation, and Logistics at the University of Duisburg-Essen and held in German. It was open to everyone affected by or interested in micromobility in Cologne-Ehrenfeld, including cyclists, cargo bike users, pedestrians, entrepreneurs, drivers, people with limited mobility, planners, City of Cologne employees, and other interested groups.
