The Sustainability InnoCenter, located in Uppsala, serves as a dynamic hub for young professionals, entrepreneurs, scholars, and forward-thinking individuals dedicated to advancing the United Nations sustainability goals. By fostering collaboration and innovation, SIC aims to explore fresh perspectives on sustainability, climate action, public engagement, and social issues. Utilizing open innovation and idea generation processes, SIC develops innovative solutions with positive societal impact. Leveraging its expertise in sustainable development, participatory design, and city-driven innovation, gained through years of activity in idea development, advisory services, research, and cross-sector partnerships, SIC contributes significantly to the PROMISE project. Moreover, SIC's close ties with Swedish cities and municipalities further enhance the project's effectiveness.
